I found some new cyberfriends and we exchange email regularly which is (for me) better than chatting or messenger-ing. We plan to meet in real world and it is just great
The overwhelming response could be a hint. However, I would think that if someone visits a dating site solely to find a match, they would stop once they had found someone? Hence, no/few responses from those who’ve been successful.
Paying sites sometimes list testimonials from 'success' stories, but who can tell? If you're paying, it's in their interest to entice you.
Seriously though, I introduced a couple of friends to this site last September. The lady met someone soon after and recently visited him in his country. Things are still going very well. The guy deleted his profile a few months later because he said it was just a joke.
The other success, although not dating: a friend’s daughter in the UK met an Australian on a common interest site about a year ago. They have exchanged visits since then, speak almost daily and appear to be madly in love with each other. The guy wants her to relocate to Oz.
Hope springs eternal.
I love you all!::teddybear:
