Sydney and Melbourne are were the most jobs are and also the most stuff to do. Also those cities have the largest Italian communities if your English isn't good. Try Leichart in Sydney.

Summer of course is the best time to visit. More to do, great weather, beaches, events.

Kings Cross is an eye openerwow
I've been to Sydney, great city! thumbs up
Hello,
Australia is a great country to live in.Don't mind Kings Cross it is a red light district.
I worked for an Italian Orthodontist and a lot of Italians live in Burwood or Fivedock in Sydney.Old Subrubs.Basically they are suburbs that are in the inner west of Sydney city.
But the transport system is second to none, meaning it is so great that you will find it very easy to get around.

The main railway station is Central station which brings you to anywhere even outside of Sydney.Sydney airport has a train station to the city.Do have relatives there, that might make things easier.
Have you got your working Holiday visa.Australia is very strick with correct documents.I am an Australian Citizen with an Australian Passport so i can go back any time.Unless you are a refugee that is arriving in a boat you get to stay in a dentention centre until they decide what to do with you.

About Australian people in general.there are very funny and very straight to the point, they don't go around a subject they get straight to the point. So you as a European might find that to be bad manners but it is actually a good way to be.You know where you stand with them.If they like you,you have a friend for life,if they don't,look out.Anything else you would like to know just email me.

Circular Quay is where the harbour is,it is so beautiful.Tht is where the Sydney harbour bridge is,the locals call it the coat hanger. Then you have the Opeara House which is amazing to sea. There are Ferry trips to all the beaches.
But if i was going for the first time i would go to the beach areas,Manly Beach is my favourite. Now you are bringing me back some wonderful memories.I think i will book a ticket and meet you there.Only Joking.
Keep away from Kingscross.A bit like our Temple Bar area here in Dublin but not as bad.

Well Mr Italian must not be that interested in visiting Australia,or maybe he is stopped by immagration at Sydney Airport.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
