Hi there, I left my country when I was 24 to go to South Africa, it was a wonderful experience. I have since encouraged a couple of my neices to travel and to experience other cultures - one went to Dubai for a 6 month contract - she is still there 6 years later and loves it.

I am sure people inh your new job will make you feel welcome and do everything they can to make you feel at home.

You will get a little homesick, but thats natural - treat this as an opportunity of a lifetime, good luck and enjoy handshake
actually the agency is old 15 years i never heard that kind of complaints and the company is ritz carlton
The stuff is is uncharted territory for me as a person ><
:) Dont be scared :) Keep your head up and use commom sense. You will be alright. I left home when I was 18, flow over to the states. I guess you will be in a much different place.
You will be alone some days but think of it as experience, this will be very good for you and you will be having a great time to I think. Meet new people etc. :)
Good luck

Hi Divine! wave

Well, congratz for the job and I will everything is good with you.

I saw takemetofrance already gave you good advice related to your job. I've never been in Doha, Qatar but I suggest you to read more about the habit and culture there. It will help to make you feel comfortable with the working environment.

It seems nervous and scare at the first time but later I think you will love it. {smile}

Take care! hug

DevineChaos (cute name!), if nothing else you will experience something you haven't experienced before. New interests, new experiences, perhaps new kinds of food, new growth for you, etc. Perhaps you will come back stronger and wiser, and less afraid of the unknown when you return. Experiences only make us stronger, right? Best of luck to you, and take good care of yourself, okay? Often times, our worst fears are never realized, because we find that our fears were unfounded. You have nothing to fear but fear itself.
Macedonia also has some Biblical history, too. I believe the Apostle Paul did missionary work there when he went on his tours in that area, some 2,000 years ago, so there is ancient history there.
