Oh, that one was easy. Then it means nothing. bunny

I guess it's just a habit of people saying this, now a days, as well as I love you and youre welcome.
Just empty phrases if you don't know the meaning of it.
Hi wantok,
So true scraffie, such an empty phrase nowadays. My second son who is quite rebellious is so quick to say 'I'm sorry' when ever he does anything wrong. And when he says he is sorry, I just roll my eyes...
Here in India everyone say "thank you" whatever happends...roll eyes (offcourse that`s the people I meet on the hotel and at the fabrick...) laugh Maybe a good idea, starting to say Thank you all the time...grin cheers
yes baltus, thats one of the things we could say as a habit.
I always say, thank you no matter what, even if people are rude.
I noticed it makes them think about there self.
The same as the Americans say, "excuse me" if they want to pass you, they might not mean it all the time but at least you know they want to get trough. In Holland they just push you aside first and then say excuse me, makes no sence to me.
People in India are very respectful to others I,ve heard
Thank you, scruffie!laugh cheers
