WHAT KIND OF LOVE !!!!!!

Here is what I think. The love between friends is a love that has built itself up out of time, trust, respect and loyalty between you and your friends. Similar to the kind of love you receive from your family. They will be there for you through thick and thin moments in your life.This is a bond that can last a lifetime or be just a temporary phase in the course of your life. That is unless the trust issue is broken. But that's another story.

The love you get between you and a significant other comes out of time, trust,respect, loyalty, devotion, dedication, care and understanding. These are feelings and sentiments that are shared, felt and demonstrated by the two of you in love with each other. Notice the words : Devotion,Dedication and care and understanding. In this type of love the two of you feel the same qualities as those shared with your friends and family but with these three added qualities put in. Because the love between you and a significant other requires these qualities to be in place for this type of love to occur in order to function.

It's these qualities I find that make this kind of love work. You have to give of your time, your trust, your respect, your devotion to remain truthful and loyal to each other while caring and understanding each others wants, needs and desires and to communicate your feelings for each other in a way that you wouldn't with your friends or family. There is a difference here.How you feel about your friends and family is not really what you feel about your significant other. With your significant other there is a stronger and much deeper connection between you and him/ her. Something in the way you don't feel towards your friends. Something more personal and meaningful than the love of friendship.
