Today .... and what a day it is =)

I continue to marvel at the wonders of the simplest of moments. I awoke after some lucid dreams that weren't exactly the best. Then i proceeded to lock myself out of the house while letting the dogs out this morning wearing nothing but my robe and pajama pants in the cold morning air. So, safe to say it was turning out to be the start to a terrible day. Luckily, i was able to wake up someone to let me in. I proceeded to make my morning java... and wait impatiently for the brown goodness to brew. I sat stewing over the events which seemed to be leading to a crap-tacular day. Suddenly i noticed a vast array of colors in the morning sky. Wrapped in my robe, i was lured back outside to see this amazing spectacle of dazzling lavender, golden yellows, and penetrating crimsons. Then continued to marvel as it transitioned to oranges and yellows against a pale blue sky, Watching all this seemed to burn away all those bad feelings of discontent that the day had begun with. As the colors faded off to obscurity, i contented myself with going back inside, unable to give over to frustration of earlier events. I'm just amazed how watching the dawn of a new day can have such a prolific impact on my mood, and my outlook of what lays ahead....
