I have a few friends that are simply friends.. we get along, have fun together but there's no illusion that this is a long haul relationship for either of us. that being said.. cant get upset when the other person makes a date, etc.. my only rule there is that if you have plans with me.. you arent allowed to break them for another girl.. I deserve that much respect as a friend (there are exceptions.. one time only concerts, etc.. but you get my point).. and live by a dont ask, dont tell code where other females are concerned.. dont vent about the downfalls of one girl to another..
I'm not a jealous person by nature.. but I know this cant and doesnt work for everybody.. but I think if everybody is up front and honest about their feelings and intentions..it can work.
