My Brush with the Law

22 December 2006 went out to a bar supposed to meet up with my ex who was coming from his work function was at club all night my ex didn't show up, had drinks left on my table cos I had ordered for my ex & his mates. I offered them to these two guys at another table. I end up dropping these guys off to their houses and go home.

Couple of days later I get a call from Paul who asked as a payback for how generous I was to him and his friend the other night he if he could come over with his brother and bring a box or bottle of whatever for me, they came over that night they drink with my ex. I get introduced to the brother who is a cop!! During the drink up my ex blurts out that he is gay, which becomes the drinking subject for the night... And it also peaks the cop guys interest in me (i'll call him Lance)

I'm at work the texting begins with Lance who I still don't know much about So he wants to know my life story so I tell him. We carry on the text betweeb 26 December till 31 December 2006.
On New Years day we get a call from Lance who wants us to come have NYs dinner with them.... this is the first time I find out he actually has a wife and kids my ex and I turn up to his house and he introduces me to his wife as a "long time friend" wtf!!!! they had invited another couple who were their friends and we all had a pretty good night eating, drinking and just being merry. End of that day

After this my ex and I begin socialising ALOT with Lance and sometimes his brother Paul and the friends we met.... sometimes we would entertain sometimes our new found friends would entertain all this time I noticed Lance becoming more and more agressive especially towards my ex....

So what did Lance get up to

1 One day he turns up in full uniform and the police car and asks me if he can talk to me.... So I do. Then I get paranoid sitting in the cop car cos of the neighbours... So I ask him to leave.

2. Another day.. my ex comes home with a very ihnteresting story and tells me that a cop turned up and spoke with the General Manager!!!!! at his job and asks for him.... Of course the Manager becomes concerned and asks if my ex has done anything wrong and the cop says no I just need to speak with him... Guess who the cop was??? My ex was not happy to see him that day I can tell you now....

3. I went clubbing with some friends at the time I was still texting him and got abandoned by my friends who found guys and left me on my own in town. So trying to call someone to come get me everybody was either sleeping, busy or just not answering their fones or my texts. So I text him and asked for help the call came straight away and he asked where I was I told him where he said give me half an hour I will do a job and come pick you up thinking he wasn't not working that day half an hour later he turns up in the cop car and in uniform. So this is my story about a hunky looking great physically fit and very handsome guy who had a fascination with me and tried to show it in every way he could.... but because he had a wife and two children I could not bring myself to go there with him... So a few months later I had to end the friendship I told him we just weren't suited for each other and asked him not to call, text, or email me anymore as I would not respond.... Had a few more texts of him pleading me to stay in his life... But you know what I really did not want to be the "other woman" so I did not respond... Haven't heard from him since cos my address, phone, cell and email have all changed. Just a little bit of recklessness on my part too. Its great to have a guy thats so interested in you not so great if hes married!!!
