A Truckers Tale...

So I am rollin a construction zone , doin.the speed limit in Illinois , when this hand swings his rig wheel side to pass...(snowin) He loses it , kisses the unit into the concrete barrier, and nearly rolls her over less than a trailers length on my nose!!! So I am askin...holiday traffic , winter conditions, slow it down folks, your lives are worth. It!!!( Bettin that driver will not forget that gators bite any time soon...glad she did not death roll him!!! Peace.....peace cool

Kdtrucker, it certainly teaches one in a moment, the fragility of our lives, and such happenings, puts our lives in perspective, that you drive on from such events, is sheer luck, i am sure you are grateful, events were not more calamitous.comfort
KD; My experiance is that 80% of the drivers forget how th drive in ice and snow and have to learn all over each year after the first snow, They seem forget that the stopping distance mutiplies and breakes do no good on Ice and snow.professor doh frustrated
Very true ....am greatful that he only suffered vehicle damage....if I had been racing him...fighting his pass etc. story would be much different mam....and yessir....they surely do forget...see you are from a state in the union that knows all about this...lol...grin
kdtrucker, I have seen times when you could park in the middle of a 40 acre field and they will still hit youfrustrated frustrated frustrated rolling on the floor laughing
Yup, I mean first of all wet snow...not sure if he fell asleep , bad driver, or all the above....so many drivers both hands and 4 wheelers get over confident.....devil
No matter what conditions your under I know a hard working trucker like yourself puts up with a lot. Happy Holidays to ya!!
I spent 30 years out their and you don"t talk like any driver I"ve ever met , must be a Werner driver !!
