A POEM I WROTE TODAY
How could you just walk awaywithout a word or reason why
Leaving so many things unsaid
and not even a goodby.
I trusted you and gave you my heart
didn't that mean anything to you?
Was it all just a game
didn't I mean anything to you.?
Guess I will never know what went wrong
since you choose to be silent and not call
I will carry on and live my life without you
there must be a reason for it all.
Maybe the man up above
has other plans for me
So I will just step back
and wait and see..

However the truth is there is nothing he could have said that would have made you feel better.
When forced to say things such as "It's not you, it's me" or "you deserve someone better than me...."
The simple truth is people stay with people they are (in love) with.
The reason he left was because he was no longer in love with you.
Other circumstances such as possibly seeing someone else really does not matter.
The reason he didn't tell you "why" was because he did not want to go through any drama.
I realize that may not be easy to hear/read but most of the time situations are not as complicated and we believe them to be.
Remember the fun times you had and continue on with your journey called life.
As this has been said for many years...Everything happens for the best!
