NEARER [MYSTIC]
GOD in HIS love for HIS creatures:------draws them near to HIS Grace in varied ways
some are called in a flash, some in a lifetime,some a few days
in HIS Mercy HE holds HIS creatures dear
in boundless Graciousness HE draws them near
different is the way for the different kind
not all HIS creatures are of the same mind
some HE draws near in fear
that, in their terror perceive HIM clear
some HE draws near in love sublime
lovers intoxicated with HIS wine clamour to climb
some HE draws near in torment, in pain
that they may realise their lives were lived in vain
some HE draws near in charity in giving
that they may empty their coffers while living
some HE draws near in pity in kindness
that they learn to see, live not in blindness
some HE draws near in understanding
for these, its the highest spiritual bonding
some HE draws near in detachment
that they renounce illusion, exchange contentment
