1) someone who's patient enough to be a best friend first
2) someone who's readily prepared for all sides of who I am
3) someone I can talk to me about anything...especially the really stupid things... just because we can...
4) someone who is always honest with me, but takes the time to develop a level of trust in me... I want to be trusted because I've proven myself to be reliable and not simply because that's assumed of me.
5) someone who I can tell everything...unafraid... because he knows that the things I've done have made me into the woman he loves today.
6) someone who challenges me... this doesn't necessarily means telling me what I ought to do or saying I have more potential...it's more about seeing my potential and fostering it. I want to be with someone who compliments me in such a way that the way he acts inspires me to achieve more for myself.

9) someone that gets along so well with my family that they could hang out with just them if I weren't around.
10) someone who always surprises me...either with fun stories, or weird quirks, or just spontaneity
11) someone who's affectionate with me, not because they can be or they need to be, but because they want to show me they adore me. I don't need a kiss everyday, but when you do kiss me I want it to be for a good reason.
12) someone who doesn't have to prove their with me when we're around other people, and also someone I don't feel jealous for when they're hanging out with other people. It's a level of understanding that we have nothing to prove to anyone else if we've proven ourselves true to one another.
13) someone with opinions so that I can either have intelligent conversation or a heated argument.
14) someone who makes me feel so humble...I want to be able to serve the man I love without him keeping score...I want him to know I care for him not by words alone.
