i am not demanding but just being vigilant

A caucasian guy emailed me sometime Feb. and we started chatting. He sent couples of his pictures. I did not send mine for security reasons but preferred to have a videocall. Initially, i took into account his reason of having no camera. He is working somewhere in West Africa (place that bugs me with full of scammers). He was telling sing-songy and flattery words. Well, sorry to say those cut no ice with me. We are having good conversation though after all.
Today, i brought my nerve forward to ask him for a videocall or voicecall but neither did work coz he said he is only using a hotel's desktop computer. For me, it is unusual for an expat not to have a personal computer when you are working in other country. Isn't it?
Let's see till when and how he can prove his sincerity and honesty. I demanded him i am more comfortable on a videocall so he has to find ways.

I would certainly not stand in no lobby chatting with my contacts around the world. Tell him to get a lappie if he want further contact. Say you wanna see his rooster on cam.

Why should working in West Africa, or anywhere, stop you having a computer cam.

Get rid of him - waste of time on someone so secretive about nothing.

morgenlulv -> he sounds polite though. i am also observing his grammars. Visual chatting has full of deceptions.
He can call me over the phone though. Nevertheless i can still figure out where he is from through his accent.
Everybody can afford laptops, right?..so sounds skeptic he doesn't have one.
How did you know the qualities i am looking for are like of George Clooney?

Me too!!!!!,I have been writing to this lady from Belarus,,she wants to meet but in the Ukraine (Kiev),Now I do not really mind meeting in Kiev,but I would prefer her home town of Gomel in Belarus...Anyway a conversation at work has scared me sowhat..A guy at work travelled to Russia to meet a girl..on arriving he was accosted by a group of men who stole everything he had passport,credit cards the lot, the girl then did not want to know him.Stuck in russia with no passport or cash or means of getting cash is pretty scary...I think I will play for time,,I,ll try to do some checks,,,Its sad that it has to be like this and I think she is legitimate,,but can I take the chance!!!!

Metaalona -> he moved to Republic of Benin for a short-term school construction project. That place did not even ring a bell that i have to do a research.

He is in CS but has not been active for a month. Don't worry i will post his name and picture once i catch his modus operindi.
I just pity the pics of that caucasian guy which they use as cloys to ensare people.

TAKEMETOFRANCE -> you are right..no normal guy would over use overbearing words right away... His grammars and spellings are not good enough to be a caucasian. I have been seeing clear patterns of discrepancies.

I already deleted him and em not paying attention when he buzzes me.

hmmm...not really. I am still basically friendless here. I don't get to go out anywhere and wouldn't know where to go if I did. So I mostly just stay in my hotel room and blog like a fool on CS!

you are not from Mars. You are from London. So if you are in the UK, you need nothing to travel across all the European Union. As Shenghen area. No visa !! Just take passport and flight ticket ! Paris in spring is phantastic !
