Not all are one-night-stand
how would you react if someone in the bar invited you to his place after? It's been long time since i went to the bar. Last night, we went to the bar with lady friends. I just noticed my inkling to dance has subsided maybe it bcoz of age. I would rather enjoy listening to the band music instead. I guy invited me for a dance and we had a great conversation. After a while he whispered if we can to go his place after to continue the night. I am not naive not to know his intention. i just told 'You are cute and funny. NO'
To all guys, do you find all ladies in the bar as one-night-stand? or we just went to the wrong place?

I take it that one does'nt go to a Bar to find a life time partner but rather just to have entertainment.(for that night) I could be wrong.
Personally, I don't go to bars very often as I don't drink. I do go to clubs however, (when I am somewhere that has some) because I like to dance but the scenario is you described is played out in thousands of bars and clubs all over the world every night.
I know that not all ladies attending such establishments are looking for one night stands just as I know that some certainly are. You just can't assume anything about anyone.
I don't drink and Rubi comment just like my question to you,but i didn't want to tell that Qatar society is not what you just said? Maybe you were in the wrong party with the wrong people !??
It does appear that he was somewhat aggressive and still polite. And your reply was polite.
I have to wonder... Is it wrong for a man to ask?
If he had asked (instead) for your phone number... would you have given it to him?
All's well in the tight five then?
STONY & RUBICON -> is there a poker game in CS?i want to play it with you.
good luck to your team..
Don't worry Sakineh. You could relate to me easy.
I went to city centre one time. But I was lost...
I think, you have been taught something the fact, you are able to protect yourself and that experience is the best tutor
Go and enjoy ... and be ready ... you are assertive enough to say strictly "NO!". For all normal men woman´s NO means NO!
Men are head but women are necks neck turns with head
my grandmom´s a quote...
Have a lovely time.
Thank you for your candid reply.
From my own experience. For the culture here. I would consider your experience to be typical.
The men who are looking to "get lucky" are most likely at bars/clubs ... dancing and listening to bands play. And drinking.
Men who are socializing for other reasons most likely are somewhere else... at a friend's home... at a movie... dinner... watching sports... all sorts of places where "getting lucky" isn't too likely.
I'm in the latter group. Always have been.
(Hi Aswina! )
hope all dandy with you!
Relax and enjoy your Saturday
The Doha Rugby club is run by Poms and they are incedibly expensive to join. The Lions have suited me (and my limited budget) better.
I refereed about 14 games of Touch Rugby in their tournament here the other day. It was good fun except I had completely lost my voice by the end of it from the sand storm blowing at the time and from yelling at sloppy defensive lines to get back onside!
I can just imagine half of Doha all lost their voices, families, friends, business partners, all communicating with emails, scribbled notes, sms's. Those sand storms are potent.
...and no, I dont see all women as one nighters, maybe see most as needing a fix..
ha ha .. Jon x
Hope u find your match soon.
Take care & enjoy listening to music.
