I thought I had a really good date but the guy takes two days to call and when we did talk he has yet to ask me out again however we still talk over the phone now what is that about

I would say just have good phone calls for now he may have to wait for another pay cheque to take you out again or something like that.hug

Agree with bronze. Sounds like you're almost up there.
Leaves you two choices: step it up or pull out.
This ain't doing it, he ain't impressed enough by what he seen so far.
If you do nothing it will fade away, at least when he meets someone "better".

Up to you now, but this ain't cutting it.
Impress or get out.

Have you called him back and suggested that you go on another date?
There are two sides to each coin perhaps he is not sure you like him therefore he may be waiting for you to call him to see whether you are serious.
