Take it like this:
She says she wants a relationship, but I don't think I'm ready for one. She will either push me into it, or leave me to look for one.
Or:
She says she wants a relationship, but I don't. She will leave once she knows this.
Not all men have the emotional maturity needed for a relationship, and not all who are wish to be in one. But still, take their fear as a sign that this guy is not right for you: He is neither Mr Right or Mr Right Now.
Unfortunately, there are many woman and men who skip STEP 1 and focus in on LOVE or what they perceive to be love without ever getting to know the other person. They create a relationship where one doesn't exist.
Perhaps what you said above explains to you why guys like me post the blogs we do criticizing women.
