My Idea of Action

People equate action with doing something. But you must realize that praying is also action—the most efficient and powerful kind of action. For something to be action, you feel you have to be working, doing something visible, exercising your own initiative. That is true, but there is also the action behind the scenes in the spirit, the powerful action that is performed through prayer. This cannot be separated as something less valuable, less important, or less emphasized.
Prayer is where the fastest and most powerful progress can be made. Intercessory prayer is a key element in making anything happen. There in the privacy of your prayer closet is where miracles begin.

No matter how strong you are, no matter how gifted, wise, talented, experienced, and faithful, there are limitations to what you can do. A man is a man is a man. There must come a time when you step across the threshold from the flesh to the spirit, truly depending more on Me and the spiritual realm than on your own work, wisdom, or knowledge.

I put a challenge before you, and that is to change your present way of working and thinking, so that your first reaction is to pray. You work, you discuss, but how much do you pray? Really now, think about it. In relation to everything else you do, how much do you actually pray—either privately or with others? How much effort do you put into the things you do—your own works—and how much do you let Me do for you and others? Honestly, I want you to see who you’re trusting more—Me or your own hand?

Through intercessory prayer you will take hold and avail yourself of the greatest action there is—the action in the spirit world performed by Me, the one who holds the power of life and death in My hands.

Believe and receive, for I now put the keys to the Kingdom in your hands. All power of Heaven is at your command to fully access as you will. Use it wisely, My loves. Use it in love, use it with discretion, use it with great honor, use it to right all wrongs, to expose evil, to set at liberty those who are bound.
But prayer, calling on the keys, and using the new weapons are all spiritual. It’s invisible power, silent force, and the results are often the same. The miracles and answers happen in the spirit first, behind the scenes. A lot of it is something you might not even know about, or find out what happened, because it changed something in the spirit, or moved something in the spirit.
Of course it ultimately affects the physical, too, and there will be real, solid, tangible, physical answers to every sincere and wholehearted prayer, and every time you obey Me and use the new weapons or call on the keys. But the real action happens in the spirit world. I get to see it, and so do My heavenly helpers. But for you, My dear loves, it’s nearly all by faith. That’s why your love and faith mean so much to Me, and why I’ve promised to reward you mightily for the stands of faith that you take.
It’s truly wonderful in My book—the fact that you receive Me, accept My Words, believe them, and act on them, all by faith, many times without even being able to see the results. That’s real love. That’s real faith. It makes Me so proud of you, and makes Me want to bless and reward you all the more!--And I do!
Matthew 16:19 To you I shall give the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; everything that you will bind in the earth will have been bound in Heaven, and anything that you will release in the earth will have been released in Heaven.
Use the Keys in conjunction to My will, and trust that I have your best interest in My hands.
