I didnt knew how did i missed the master piece, i just saw it today on a cable network and it was a very experiencing such a PIECE. I lost my very beloved dad some time ago , so it really touched me in that way too.
Coming to the post, i got the idea of the BRICK from your post but what is THE DREAM you have for it, wana share
i'd like to be an indestructible house....
some where i could live forever with my loved ones......
So that cant be achieved in this constantly changing world.

maybe a house by a lake with the sun rising in the west and setting in the east (southern hemisphere) where nature is all around and there is much peace and quite.

And yes the movie was a masterpiece, I watch it many times, and many times it brings me up to tears

But the dreams are that feeling you shared with your loved ones that painted every house with happiness aswell sadness

In that movie that moment of love for that family came in the end
In my case,that moment came too late ...

that can be quiet adventurous when in space, things flying around in the house for u!!!!
That is much better BUT you are missing your other half here or you are not trying to mess up your house and your privacy

my other half is not quite my other half yet, but i hope she knows how i feel for her.

looking at you i thought you will be a house at a beach made of glass and family in it
I wrote mine about "My Room"; gave it a name, character and brought it to life...
That is quite a composition you did!
it means you planted the story and then implemented it the same or you got surprised with the end result and then related it to the early written story
Well.. in general, if I was a house, I wanted to be part of my occupants' wonderful, colorful, and meaningful life since I was firstly built until the end of the world.
i recall a saying "look good to feel good"....so as a house dont you think that is important, and what do you think the occupant being mischief and tearing house apart in their so called happiness!
cant argue on that one miss HOUSE!
