Is he not finding her because he is opposite of all those things himself? Is he really angry, possessive, cold and self-centered?
We see what we want but not what we reflect to them causing us not to be able to have the person we dream of.
This is gender neutral of course.
Self reflection and evaluation is a good thing that we all must do periodically.
