A boring Friday turned to be Charitable..
what a boring friday!! Friends were nowhere to find until a peer called me to come to their "GARAGE SALE for a CAUSE". This fund raising campaign was intended for a daughter of one of our club members who was operated on the heart after 40 days of birth. Recently, doctors found the 8-month old baby has to be diagnosed with "BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT" that her parents need to take her to the Philippines for the operation. Friends, colleagues, concerned citizens of other natinalities donated their used, unused items, and cash.I went back to my house and searched for things that can still be sold. Waalllahhh!!!I was taken aback i had packed 1 small box of things that i kept in my cabinet for long that i didn't need.
what a fulfilling feeling, most of them had been sold. My cabinet became spacious. My prayer for the speedy recovery of baby J. She is indeed a fighter. And to all those people who helped. Your small contributions when accumulated have reached huge amount to support for the operation. MAY GOD BLESS you for your generosity.
