Hi Choco,

I have not been lucky this weekend. It was snowy and windy and cold, minus 3 degrees. But on Saturday I managed to go to a museum which was used to be where a great Icelandic writer lived, Halldor Laxness. It was interesting to see where he lived and wrote, especially the 25 minutes audio guide gave some insight of how he lived including his writing routine. Kinda inspiring as I have always wanted to live like that, doing nothing but write. Then I went to this giant candy shop which only sells candy, chocolate and jelly candy, I went crazy and bought 2,5 kilos for my kids, bad, bad mom! (it's not packed but sold in ons, so we put everything we want in a bag and they will scale it). Then I went to a building in a hill, where we can see the whole Reykjavik from above, it was beautiful, sun was shining, bright sky, but I could not stand the wind and it's minus 3 though there was sun! So I only went out to take picture and went back inside in a sec.

Sunday was worse, it was snowy and they expected some storm, so I just stayed home, but managed to went out for dinner and movie, Cloud Atlas. It's epic with interesting premise about human being and their destiny. A bit too many things going on, I got lost watching it since its subtitle was in Icelandic, and English was not my first language, but the great ansamble of casts made it interesting to watch.

And this morning, the wind is so strong it's like a giant whistle, guess I'll have to stay at home again on my last day here. Probably doing the laundry

to tell you the truth, I had to hide it from me, because I could not stop eating it. It came in so many taste, I started trying every piece of it, I'm such a baaaaad mom
