So how many people take this seriously?!?!

I have noticed a lot of older men have been messaging me. They make it obvious that they didn't read my profile other than looking at my pictures. They don't even take the time to find out how old I am. I make it really clear what I am looking for and what I want.
Even the age group that I am interested in... you have to be in a certain area to get me really interested in you. That doesn't mean you should think that you can message me or im me when you live in another country let alone another state.
I am not looking for friendship or just a intimate encounter. I am looking for a real man that wants a serious relationship.
Someone that wants to get to know me and that will like me for who I am, and will want to be with me.
So am I the only one that takes this seriously?

Lets face it....some older men might fancy trying their luck with a younger lass,because thats just how some blokes are... and if it states on your profile, what age range you`re looking for etc..then yeah...they should read first, instead of just looking at ya pics, and not bother sending you messages.

As for people from other countries..states..messaging ya....wheres the harm in that? The love of your life might be the guy on your doorstep..or the guy who works at the petrol station......the bloke in the store who gives you a cheeky wink..then again, it might not be....it could be anybody from anywhere, and until you`re willing to broaden your horizons and take a chance here and there, then what you`re looking for, might just pass you by...

You say you arent looking for friendship...but isnt that the best way to get to know somebody first?

I dont really think youre the only one who takes this seriously...but if you take it too seriously, then like I said...chances are, what could have been, might not be...

I like what you have stated. Im very stubborn and stuck on my ways but I will keep what you have said in mind. I didnt really mean that nobody takes this seriously but most guys im finding havent. well i know that friendship is the first step to building a relationship but thats not all im looking for. and im not being to serious about it, im just effortlessly being me. wave

yeah i know but im an adult now taking care of myself. just dont want to do it alone. i want someone to show me they care about me and someone i would love to care about as well.

I think, what you should reply to them nicely and thanks them for the interest and explain that you not intersted.
It is a kind of complement they gave you and reply to them by saying thanks.
This site is just a first contact, it doesn't mean 100% sure the start a love relationship. A person is not only a picture but a personality, an inside and outside too.
Lady,just take it easy and play it down.

I do agree with you jilaroo. There is nothing wrong from having freind a long the way. But some people, think they are better than the other. My advice is just be modest and treat people like you want to be treated.
