A new phase

The lid was opened for us to take a peek for the last time. When the staff decided the time given was enough, he proceeded to close the lid but my son quickly slipped in his prized fatigued hat and placed it over his dad's. So simple an act and so timely for Father's Day. I cried for I know he's battling some kind of emotion despite of that coolness.

How old is your son ?
@Non, yes, very sad. My son is 22. His CO told him not to cry before he left for Aichi. He really did not but the stress in doing so looked heavy on him. I admire him more. He's been in the army training for just 2 months and it seems they're making a man out of him little by little. Thank you for sympathizing and sorry for not responding right away. Getting busier as my new job requires a lot of overtime work. In a way it's better for me since my son is living in the camp.
