yes you will feel good and get plenty of complements now dress tarty and expect what you get I think some women dress tarty to overtake the opposition that's my feeling

We dressed up when we need to especially.
When we represent ourselves, when we are invited for formal occasions ( formal or informal). To dress up is a part of celebrating or expressing respect to a person who organizes event.
How it would be if you appear e.g. at a wedding party in jeans and T-shirt? You would express despise to bride / groom and their families.
What about dress code? I have to keep strict dress code in my work, dress, jacket, stilettos, hair up in bun. No way for any man or compare with another woman... just keeping a dress code.
I can find more examples, but my coffee break is over.
