Love is blind

Does anyone believe the old saying ,Love is blind and lovers cannot see! I'm just curious if anyone experience this old saying .heart wings teddybear kiss

No, I don't think I have but then again I may! Probably not because I have never really thought about it. I loved the woman I was with and when it was over it was over.

love is blind often refers to someone in a relationship,,either overlooking or just not seeing some kind of issue with a partner which others clearly do see,,,,an example might be one half of the relationship,,either the man or the woman spending too much time in the pub,or partying or even being unfaithful,,,sometimes the partner may be unaware of this,or may even know but allows it to happen without challenging it..........others may witness the behaviour and inform the relevant person,,but he or she doesnt accept this...doesnt "see" it...hence the term love is blind...thats the way ive always been led to believe what "love is blind" means....banana banana banana

I believe that it is, in my case when I look back at previous relationships I always think back to certain situations that I looked over in the name of love. I saw one of my exes pics on Facebook and I thought Wtf! A friend of mine told me that she did mention several time that he was not my type.....i guess I was blinded by love

love is often selective along with being blind. It often is illusive as well. Nobody can honestly love without attachment.
