That habit

No one forbids you to do any kind of habit you like. It can be your part of your life style, for example habit of smoking.

There have been researches studying about the impact of smoking up to these days. I believe the bad impacts revealed by those studies would not make a smoker happy. Facts hurt. At least the scientists have been fair enough telling you the possible effects you would have in future after consuming dozes of nicotine and other chemical substances in a cigarette to your body.

There have been proves that many people’s life are put in danger to several form of illnesses after consuming these substances in the long run. So, if you think they can kill you straight away, you’re so naïve. If you think they will not impact your health after you stop it for a while, you’re way too naïve. Do you think that the toxic you have accumulated through smoking for years went up like smoke in the air once you stop it? O je, du bist Schei*e. Du bist keinen Engel!

It’s really up to you to smoke your cigarette as many as you can, but you can bear in mind that there will always be some people who really mind you to smoke while you are with or surround them. It’s not you that they reject, it’s something comes with your habit; could be the smell, could be too sensitive of smokes, health reasons, appearance reasons and so on. The smell is inevitable stays on you, unfortunately, whether you will be busy to contest that you don’t smell any smell, but you are in fact smelly. I believe some people can easily detect someone around as smoker or not although this person stands in few meters away. Why? Your hair, your clothes, your bag, your breath are smelly and the smell will not be gone until at least you’re taking shower! Not only that, there could be some part of holes on your tops or on trousers/skirts burnt while you smoked. Your yellowish-partly broken-teeth when you’re laughing or smiling somehow can tell others about your habit without you have to tell anyone that you are a smoker.

Accept the facts that there will always be people who contradict you about your habit of smoking. If you think non-smokers have been brainwashed by any means that smokers are put to be blamed, you’re way too naïve. It is you who have been brainwashed by your personal environment and false campaigns about how cool you will look like if you’re smoking even though you know it could harm your own health and other people’s around you sooner or later.

Some also have compared the habit of smoking and drinking. I am not sure both can be compared one to another as the chemicals substance in a cigarette and in a bottle of whisky, for example, are different. The only similarity is they put your life in danger if you consume them carelessly. Have you ever thought that a cigarette can burn a building down unintentionally?

Instead of whining and blaming others who cannot compromise the enjoyment of spending more money to burn cigarettes with you, you better accept the consequences of doing your habit of smoking. Start thinking what kind of responsibilities go along with you while you do your habit. That’s what actually an adult does.
