~~THE TRUE ESSENCE OF MIND IS LIKE WATER~~
If we place water into a tall skinny glass it will take on the shape of tall and skinny. If we place the same water into a wide flat bowl it will take on the shape of wide and flat. If we break the container the water will no longer be constrained, but will instead freely flow into whatever shape the universe requires of it. Water can be shaped, but it has no inherent shape.Likewise beliefs are the container of mind. If we allow beliefs to cloud our mind then our perception will be constrained by those beliefs. In essence our beliefs function as filters between the infinite nature of mind and our perception.
Only a truly open mind, one empty of unnecessary beliefs, can directly experience the true nature of reality. This is because the true nature of mind, just like water, is without shape and infinite in scope

One thing about water is that it evaporates in arid area. Without water we have no life, really. Thank God we have seas and oceans and lakes and rivers and oasis.
