Sundance
A walked along the surface of the vast and heated sunI saw stars and moons and endless space, my legs could barely run
I drifted in a state of dream, like a lifeless butterfly
Twisted, mangled and suppressed but I did not know why
With terror, fear and wandering eyes so close like ink marked skin
I may not finish this race of ours but I sure do want to win
Would you dance if I held you close, feel my breath upon your neck
Or would the wind blow my sails like a savage pirate wreck
Would you cry if I told you truth, hide behind my lies
Bathe in a pool of endless sleep, filled with all my cries
Walk a bridge ten thousand miles, far above the earth
Kiss me deep and passionate, break this promised curse
Just say yes I now you can, I know it’s harder than it seems
Or say no and stay awake, through out an endless dream
