Natural Remedies for Bronchitis(winter is ringing)

Turmeric is amazing as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent (and has be talked about as a super herb for treating just about everything) and also works well as great anti-bacterial and anti-viral agent for bronchitis. It can be found in health food stores and drug stores in 600 mg capsules and taking 3 to 6 of these twice a day (for the average adult) works well for bronchitis.

Garlic is an herb that grows all over the world is one of the best immune boosters you can find and it’s very inexpensive and it works wonders for bronchitis. Forget about all the tablets and capsules on the market, just chop up two cloves of fresh garlic a day and take it with water or juice and you’ll be doing your body a great service (garlic is a super food for healing). And garlic lowers cholesterol and triglycerides, lowers blood pressure, relaxes vessels in your heart with nitric oxide, and even helps with weight control… one of the best all around herbs in my book.

Probiotics – Take some probiotic bacteria in capsule form which you can find at any drug store… or take Kimchi, or natural sauerkraut, or yogurt, all of which contain lots of great probiotic bacteria. Can’t hurt to make sure your immune system is working great so you can fight off infections.

Chlorella – Take Chlorella 3,000 mgs per day, it contains over 60 different nutrients your body needs. Your body sees Chlorella as food so it’s absorbed into your body right away. It also contains all the essential and none essential proteins that your body needs to create antibodies to fight off infection. Chlorella can be ordered on-line or asked for at any health food store… it’s very popular now.
Duration – Take these herbs for no more than 7 days… some of them are very powerful and should not be used for long periods of time. In fact all herbs should be used for short periods of time… only food like garlic and chlorella should be taken for long periods of time.

We live in a antibiotic resistant world, so it’s important to use natural herbs as much as possible for great health.

Hi minnie, wave thanks for the info, I will give turmeric a try. When I feel a cold or other infection coming on, I'll take royal jelly which is like a natural antibiotics.

I'm taking probiotics and wheatgrass as chlorella shouldn't be taken when having something going on with your thyroid.

being patient Hashimoto Hypothyroidism has been so frustrating taking pills day after day without finding a palpable improvement, which led me to research natural medicine in general. And I found information about coconut oil, Selenium, Maca. I have tried water or isotonic sea water wich is full of minerals and Spanish literature exists on its use.
