But my poor grandma never got over the fact that I abandoned my studies in the university just after only one year to get married to my ex!!!

Families tend that way, don't they!! I followed suit but it ended up only intensifying the truth that I strive not to fit in as it's my nature. Can't fight your own nature. I did well enough but there was nothing concrete about it. I have yet to figure out how to "put the feet on the ground". It has made me so theoretical I can hardly relate on a day to day level in day to day situations. I'm an older "student type" now struggling to find work that is stimulating enough and to do that I fear I really will need to do a few MORE courses. Earlier this year I applied & was accepted to college, then my plan went down the tubes at the same time I have a dog that had developed sudden tumors (while I was working out the papers for college) and we had to have them removed. I had to withdraw from college but just this week (many weeks later) signed up for a night course and in less than 24 hours the dog had a sudden small bump appear where the tumor seemed to have been completely removed. I pray that it will stop and not grow...
