How to keep Long Distance Relationships Alive? Part One....1.) Even though the most you can do in a long distance relationship is talk, try to find ways to do things together. If both of you have a show you like, put your beau on speakerphone and watch it together. Interaction on the phone can become dull, but if you mix it up by doing things together on the phone, it’ll keep things interesting. Don’t feel pressured to keep a conversation rolling. Long moments of silence are okay! If your beau was there with you watching the show, you wouldn’t be jabbering the whole time, would you? Exactly.
2.) Avoid jealousy. The key to any relationship, especially long distance relationships, is to avoid becoming jealous. Sure, some amount of jealousy is normal, but don’t let it get out of hand. You need to trust your partner and go into the relationship with the idea that your beau is worthy of trust, until proven otherwise. Don’t question your partner every time he/she goes out with people you don’t know, or if he/she doesn’t answer your text or phone call right away.
