What is the best way to kill depression?
I think I'm dealing serious depression, i don't know why but i feel so empty. I don't feel myself like I'm a person anymore, something emptiness is always with me and being with me all the time.Sometimes, i just feel like my bones are not function anymore and become weak. Sometimes i feel like i'm locking in the room which has no air, sometimes i feel like i'm in the planet where no people and no sound.sometimes i feel like i just move because of something or something push me to function.
Sometimes i feel like i don't hear and don't feel anything, just live without emotion or feeling. Lately, i feel like I'm so tire, even if breathing makes me tired and feel like someone force me to breath.
I don't know anymore, why i'm dealing with such of depression.

Dear Moonlove, you are a beautiful a precious individual. For depressed feelings it is helpful to work on appreciating yourself just as you are. Realize that you are a gift to Life and to us. Do as much as you can to treat yourself well. You deserve it! Also, walk out your door and look for some opportunity to serve. Just a few random acts of kindness will help you feel better. JMO
I remember on this site how you brightened up so many lives and made people laugh too, WE NEED THAT BACK.
Please go to the docters moonlove and keep writting here people care about you and will help, just kind words, sometimes will help that light of yours get brighter.
I get depressed when I see some people suffering and I can offer any help. That is where psychopaths become my inspiration. They are very real and I've always been of the mindset that I can do anything anyone else can.
Now if your sitting around feeling sorry for yourself, it sounds more like problems with selfishness then depression. If you want to alleviate selfishness, then do some things that are generous and you'll feel better.

Well done for telling everyone. We all want to help wnd we all have different suggestions.
Depression is a way of not dealing with things that you really need to deal with. Now, you may not consciously know what they are but deep within you do.
You can beat Depression yourself and you won't need medication.(Medication doesn't work, it just suppresses emotions and causes more trouble in the long run.)
Focusing on killing Depression won't work, it will just cause more of the same, Depression. What you need to focus on is your life. What do you want to do with your life? Do you have a Dream? Where do you want to live? What work would you like to do? What type of partner would you like to have? etc These are all big questions and thankfully there is help to guide you through them. Living is an Art Form. When we get up in the morning we choose our cloths, our food, our makeup, whatever. The whole of life is choice and we are the artists who choose what way we would like our life to be.
An incredible course has been written called "The Artists Way" by Julia Cameron. It has helped many people. It helps people to focus on living again, on helping them find joy in life. Most of all it gets you on the path you really want to be on. That path is filled with Joy, Happiness, Love and Hope. If you really want to get well, I strongly suggest you set some time aside and do the course. Also, when you buy the book, don't read ahead, just do the course work for each week. It's a twelve week course. I wish you all the best in the world and I've given you my best advice based on experience and sound knowledge.

1. Come to your doctor and let him to make gastroskopy. your problem maight be an usual gastrit with low asid(sorry my english, hope you will understand what I mean)
2.if you are healthy-MOVE!!!!! I Know it will be awfully hard for you to make yourself to move, but MOVE!!! Don't look for any sense in moving just walk, do exersice,dance!!! If you can't-just stand up and go around your flat, than-more and more!!!! PLESE! TRY!!!!
3.find somebody who needs your help and help. Make yourself busy.
4.Ask for the God to help you but do any steps yourself and you will receive help.

I know what your feeling. It feels like your mind and body is on auto polite. I was suffering from sever depression for 2 years. I am not completely recovered but I motivated to do things that I like to do again. What helped me get through it was positive thinking. I know its hard to do in that state but keep telling your self I can make through this. Force your self to do activities in the sun. It has been proven to uplift depression. Do things you normal wouldn't do Nothing illegal though. Keep your mind off those negative thoughts. Stay strong and in time you will feel normal agian
The feeling is good when i see, some people still care someone that they dont know
Sometimes when I feel a depressing thought or idea coming to mind. I try to think of happy things and stuff or just keep busy to help keep my mind off of being sad. Usually, when I'm depress or feeling all alone. I talk to someone or somebody who is realy close to me and who I can trust. For example, my mother or sisters. Or try to plan how I can make things better or fix the situation. My suggestion is if things are getting worse you need to really seek help from a professional. I always find if I talk about it or what's really wrong to someone out loud in a private area. I really feel a whole lot better and remember that you have to let the sad thoughts and feeling go and move on to new and bigger things in your life. Don't let the negative things or thought get to you. You need to defeat it and let go.
Sometimes very intelligent people are depressed because they understand the problems of the world better then those that aren't so smart, shall we say. I've witnessed it myself. Happy go lucky people whos only worry is making sure they have enough beer to watch a football game.
