A Nephew of Mine(Dont like him but thats beside the Point) Found A Kitten that Was Abandoned
Brought him Home Home And named Him Winslow
As the Time went by It was Just Him And Winslow
(Even Winslow Crying at his bedroom door to Get In)
After about a Year Winslow disappeared
They Didnt hear from him in 2 Years
One Day(As Miclee said)
Winslow Just Showed up at the door Crying Outside
My nephew was all excited..."Winslow Is Back!!!!!
That didnt Last Long
Within 2 Days Winslow Disappeared Again
And Was never heard of Again
That was 5 Years Ago................

These two can get into trouble all the Time

My Son (When Leaving them Alone Has to Have Chair Up Against the refridge)
These two have found a way and can open it
And then you come home to all the good stuff all over the Kitchen Floor

Curiously
When you walk thru the Door
They just continue Eating what theyve Stolen as If theyve done nothing Wrong............

Cats are perfect predators, all the more so because they love being so. Their biggest enemy in America is cars. Children (includes psychotic adult humans) and dogs are next on the list. Interestingly, they don't do well in winter and many suffer pneumonia in the winter. Past age 5 they are very prone to cancer. Nevertheless they have been known to grow to age 20 or more. There are legendary (true) tales of cats that traveled (and found) thousands of miles on foot to be with someone who left them behind when they moved. With a good home and proper care they are great companions. They are also superb judges of human character. Never trust a person your cat does not like. Many people believe they are smarter than dogs. I have had one or two very smart dogs, so I would say it is about even, but they are certainly smarter than most dogs. One of my boys has already had his 18th birthday.
