Simple truths....
No, I'm not a princess, I'm a Queen.
I'm not a little lost lamb that needs to be found, I'm the Lioness & I make My own way.
I'm not a victim who needs to be saved, I'm the survivor.
I'm not someone to be spoken down to, I'm the one who'd rather not speak if it's below me.
I'm not the one you you can just claim. I have so many different levels it'd take a lifetime to climb all those flights, each stair something different.
I'm not the one you can lock away in a cage. I am a Butterfly, My wings are spread & I always soar.
I'm not the one who will be bound by a time frame, I'm the one who doesn't bother with simple clocks.
I'm not the one to be disrespected. I'm the one who will laugh when I look at the source.
I'm not the one to threaten. I'm the one who will happily walk out of an open door, blowing you a kiss as I go.
I've no issue with a man who will lead...but if you insist on me being a step behind you, not right beside you, well..be sure I will not stand in a shadow.
If you're lucky enough to catch my attention you'd better have a way of keeping it.
Not with $$, not with words, but with definite action.
Also know that I know the difference between prince charming & a real King.
I know my self worth. I know what my heart is. I know what I'm capable of.
Harsh? Maybe. Truthful? Always. Loyal? To the end.
Now prince charmings will say..you'll never get a King that way!!
I'm the one who will say..A Queen without Her King..still a Queen!!
