Anniversary again of that dreadful day.............reliving it all over again............where were you? What were you doing? Do you still mourn? Do you pause for a moment of reflection of lifting up all who did suffer that day or all still suffering? Just thought it might be good to share a little of ourselves on this anniversary of so great a tragedy in this country..........God bless all

I was here! At home asleep that morning. From working a midnight shift. In the middle of my sleep! I woke up and just turned the TV on. And the media was showing it!

It was pretty darn hard for me to ever forget 9-11 cause it was my late husband and mine anniversary month an date only different year.

We had decided back then to never again celebrate our anniversary.It was a hard and painful reminder.

CCincy.......omgosh how very sad for you two.............yes a terrible tragedy on a happy day does destroy the day pretty much
back in June 1997 we were celebrating husbands birthday, got the call that our oldest son had been killed in a work related accident.......and of course the day was never the same.........of course I do think your situation was more traumatic.........comfort

CCincy, you in no way took away from this blog........I was a little dismayed earlier today that no one had mentioned 911, and so tho totally inadequate I felt I needed to open a place for people to share their memories and you did that............am so glad that you did................writing
