This is me not being nice.

It is one sad world we live in. Between celebrity gossip, trends, and "reality TV", there isn't much room for thought... is there? Before I ramble on, I would like to add... to each their own. That being said, I would also like to point out that some people have really poor taste.

Kelly Clarkson? Decent looking girl. I don't personally listen to her music, but I don't knock her for doing what she does. What I do hate? Her song apparently sounds like some other pop singer's song... and this is considered NEWS. That is just a recent example that was crammed down my throat by the media, but the rest is all far too commonplace too. Celebrity A cheating on Celebrity B, Airhead Celebrity makes political statement, scandal this, scandal that... who the F*** cares?? Celebrities tend to have shitty relationships because they are often hollow, egotistical people... and they have very busy lives. Of course they break up often. Why is our culture centered around meaningless events like this?

Fashion trends... yeah. I understand that from age to age, what people like to wear changes. What i don't understand is how fashion trends will change "on the fly" at the whim of the clothing designer with the most money and connections. Or worse... at the whim of some homo on a makeover show. I'm not here to make a big thing about people being gay... but a gay man has absolutely zero credibility when trying to tell anyone other than another gay man what to wear. Those "guys" need to stop telling ladies what to wear and what not to wear! They are not even attracted to women!! And, sorry to say it, but they will never BE women themselves. Just because they like men does not make them experts on being female OR feminine. I'm friggin sorry to say to those guys... you have penises.

And lastly? Reality TV. Good GOD!! This is entertainment to some people? Watching "everyday" situations of other people on TV. This is entertainment? Seriously? Live your own lives if you are so damn interested in the mediocre events of day to day existence! And how "real" can reality TV be when half of the shows have "themes". You know half the s*** is scripted, and NONE of it is even fairly interesting. Its all a bunch of no talent hacks who can't act trying to make a name for themselves by "not" acting. Hoo-rah.
