Discipline

Discipline is not torturing oneself for nothing - that's no discipline. Purpose of discipline is to obtain joy. What destroys the knowledge in you is the feverishness. What clouds your awareness and consciousness, your joy, is feverishness. Your worries, your feelings, your thoughts arise in your own mind. You are totally responsible for all your feelings - how you feel, what you think, what you do - all that. You are responsible. Something gives you great joy then the craving for the great joy doesn't allow you to rest peacefully
