We often watch in soap operas or movies about two people who are so in love but cannot be together because of some reasons that are not so hard to solve.like for example...the movie NOTEBOOK, the girl didnt end up with the guy because her parents doesnt like him.in real life can you imagine sacrificing your true love just to please your parents or other people?they did end up together eventually but wasted so much time. There are also this movie that a man was so inlove with the girl but he must let her go for some reason..that she is too good for her, but he knows that she love him dearly. Can it happen in real life?or this movies just make you want to kill the writer sometime for making you cry. Why complicate relationship when two people are in love?unless of course one is married that is different and if one is not in love with the other anymore.but what if you are both single and free to marry who you want and in love?
Actually, yes, this happens in real life, too. Sadly. I have a love like this in my life now. We have reasons in each of our personal lives that we can't be together right now, and remain good friends. We hope that we'll be able to be together in the future, but for right now, it's just not possible.
I've had another relationship like this, too...with a man that I still love, and always will. I know he loves me, too, and always will. But he's right, we're not right for each other, and I do deserve better. He would have to change way too much for us to work, or I would have to give up the healthy changes in my life. We'll always be good friends, though.
Right now, I'm happy with things the way they are, though. Solid friendships are hard to beat, and being loved and loving is always good. And I have changes coming into my life that I need to focus on. Romance is the least of my concerns right now.
I guess I just think that love shouldn't be that difficult. There are always things that come up, but if a couple seriously wants to be together badly, then where there's a will, there's a way.
If the relationship alone isn't enough to bring two people together in spite of distance or whatever else is holding things up, then maybe it wasn't meant to be.. or at least it wasn't meant to be just then..

That is sad to know..but at least you get to be friends with him and let you know if he is ok and what he is doing with his life..worst is if he wants to exclude you in his life just for you to forget about him..that happened to me.Maybe its just one side..unlike yours..you still both love each other.good for you. Goodluck on that changes in your life.Romance can wait..just do what you have to do.

I saw a couple in Oprah..they have been apart for like 30 years or more and finally found each other again and still inlove. Its amazing.

Thank you. And that is what we're both doing. If it works out, it does. If not, it wasn't meant to be. But right now, yes, we love each other...it's just not meant to be at this time. And no, we're not excluding each other from our lives. We're still in frequent contact.
