trish123: There would be a heck of a difference round here if we didnt make a stand I assure you. One of the main beliefs of Christians is that they have the right to evangelise and woohoo what better medium than the internet.
If any of you think its innocent little god threads you really need to think again, it is an organised push to spread the word on the net, they run training courses to get then into sites such as CS - and yep, I feel duty bound to object. Have a look around the link below, follow some of the other links in there too, theres lots of info on how they go about gathering souls who would never visit church sites etc - personally, I think its duplicitous in the extreme.......

Trish, good as your intentions are in looking out for other people on here, first, you would have to be presuming that we are not adult enough to see thiese things for ourselves, and secondly, it is still no excuse for pushing athiest beliefs on people, instead of christians pushing their beliefs on people.
Two wrongs never make a right...... Surely a few kind words warning people would be better than the stuff we see on here, telling people, (even insisting sometimes), that they can't think logically, or are not rationsal for having personal beliefs that include Christianity...?

Apostophe: That is why i call myself a Buddhist - we are totally tolerant of all other beliefs - all roads lead to God.
You are right Buddhists are tolerant of all other beliefs, but, you will find that Buddhists, people practicing the classical Buddhist beliefs, do not believe in God or Gods...

Wow Trish, I have felt so alone here most of the time, only a few like Dusty or MikeHD, Aries and Tater, perhaps a few more, a slight few, I will add, seem to share SOME of what I believe, but not all. I tell you the truth, if a man shows up on these threads who believes as I do, I will marry him!
As for any organization with training courses, I was not aware of that at all. It must be something coming from the "Religious Right", whom I detest!!!!! Your information here has created a curiousity in me though. Surely they have trained people who come to these sites, planted here as spies or something, for the Political threads??? It would make sence, be just like those idiots to do something like that! I have adopted a saying... "Trust No One!"
Don't think I have actually tried "recruiting" on here, but I have shared what's on my heart at times.
Love you Trish and would still like to see photos of the blue herons around your home. Did you get a camera for a graduation gift perhaps????
