I'm sorry but back to the previous statement about people being shallow; of course they are, that's one of the most important parts of the initial selection process in every species. The only part that changes person to person is what one person might consider attractive another may not. Even if you write the most fantastic prose for the interior of the book, but the cover is not appealing, then people won't choose it and so they'll never find out what's inside.

From my experiences in the last forum I was in you can not bank on what you read from the posts of formites alone either!!
Some of the most agreeable and eliquant posters can turn out to be much more avoidable that those who are none pc or dont give much thought to what they say!!
