I don't believe this is true for everyone. I am in my 60's and talking is not difficult. There is still quite a few people who like old men.

caspatch: to much stock is placed on age, the comment about in twenty years they will be gone and i have a hard time in my forties what about when i'm in my sixties. to many have lost loved ones earlier than expected, you could find the right one in your age preference only to lose him to unseen circumstances in a short time.then again the right one could be younger or older and you could spend many happy, fulfilling years together. life has a lot of strange twists and turns nothing is black and white, if it was none of us would be on here. don't rule out anything

i sort of have the feeling that older men are held in a higher regard in our society than older women. society has focused so much on the perfect looking girl, that even the young girl feel inferior.

I agree somewhat,but everyone who has a brain knows that all people are not perfect.Society is part of all the problems in the world.If people would quit expecting certain things that society leads us to beleive is "right",we might actually see people for who they are.

here is a hint.... you can log out.... come back in but not signed in and look at all the profiles you want and they will never know you were there.... the only thing they will see is that their viewed counter went up.
