When an earthquake comes, shaft's you out of your life making you take just your underpants, doesn't matter if they are clean or dirty, and leaves you alone, careless, in the dark of life in the middle of a road with all the buildings falling arround you... no one to help you, all running away from you .... what would you do?

this is what happened just a few weeks ago in my country and just sat down and was thinking, what happened to my fellow citizens in italy is happening to me since 2 years now...

what would you do if you only had 3 choices?

1- grab your pants and run like the others.....

2- just enjoy the distruction arround you because you know there can only be resurection one day....

3- ..........

Hello, Whitesoul,

First of all, please accept my deepest sympathy for the tremendous losses and devastation as a result of the earthquake.

What would I do in such a situation? I have been in a number of earthquakes, but the greatest damage from those quakes has always been further away from me, thankfully. But I would certainly react. I wouldn't enjoy the destruction around me. I would hope that my training and education would kick in and I would look for a place to go to that is as structurally sound as possible. If I totally panic (and I certainly might), I would still be trying to flee the havoc, try to find what would seem to be the best place to be.

You and your countrymen are in my thoughts.

I'd run whether I had my pants on or not. Seriously, I'm so sorry for everything that has happened to the people who were hit by the earthquake. My prayers are with you.sad flower

I can't say for sure since I've never been in one, but hopefully my choice would be to find a safe place in the house and get my dogs in there with me so that we would survive even if the structure fell down around us.

Scary situation, to be sure. hug

I can appreciate what you are experiencing. On August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit my hometown. My home along with everybody's home in my expanded family was destroyed. We lost everyone's car. Everyone lost their job due to the business where they worked was destroyed. Eleven of us had only the clothes on our back after the hurricane past.

Once you ensure everyone is safe or not, you start the re-building process. Your pull together as a family and as neighbors to do what has to be done.

There is nothing to enjoy as you put it. Figuring out how to eat and how to get something to drink (water) takes all your waking moments.

I wish you and your's the best. I hope you are mentally strong. The days ahead are tough my friend.

Cheers to you. bouquet

Daredevil Lady
If the earthquake came to me, I would put off my T-shirt and Jeans.
Next I grabbed the man that I love . Kissed him deeply and hugged him as soon as I could.
Let the destruction happened at least I had tasted the beauty of love and making love
It's all
Thanks for reading
Yours Sincerely
Miss Daredevil
