Well what is college entry like over there, my plan would be to do something in science

i couldnt leave the grand city of dublin! ive lived all over the uk and and briefe periods in europr, and irelands home. going between dublin and galway is as much travel as i need! 
having said that, if you know its right for you, then you'll regret it more if you dont find out. better to try and see, than to live in wonder.

Well im only 21 but have already done alot of traveling around oz, new zealand and europe so i would not be completely fazed by it anyway

There are tons of colleges. You won't have an issue there. There very well could be a lot of money for college for you through grants. I went to college for free when I was in my early thirties, gov paid for it. Look into Goverment education grants USA in your goggle search engine. Best to you.
