(1) Tell General Motors to do a ch. 11 bankruptcy-no bailout.
(2) Immediately go on TV and announce audits of any corporations receiving TARP money. Name publicly on national television any companies that have taken bailout money and wasted it.
(3) Refuse to allow the North Korean UN staff entry to the United States.
(4) Send some warships to patrol of Somalia. Any suspected pirates will be subjected to a brief trial. If found guilty, they should be shot. Suspected pirate vessels that refuse to stop for search will be sunk.
(5) Seize some offshore islands off of Iran in the Arabian Gulf and build military bases. Bomb any nuclear material sites. The Islamic Republic has always stated that they are in a state of war with the United States. We will let them have their wish.
(6) Have a sit-down with the Chinese. Explain to them that if they don't stop propping up Kim Jong-Il, we will change our trade policies with them. Economically, they need us more than we need them. China is not the only cheap-labor manufacturer. Anything we don't buy from them can be replaced by Vietnam, Indonesia etc.

Well, I am unfamiliar with US politics but whether the President is Republican or Democrat he would need far longer than he has had thus far, wouldn't he.... surely?!

I don't hate Obama cause hate is such a very strong word.
I don't really don't know what I'd do to fix the pickle we're in.I think I'd probably be doing an awful lot of praying and hoping that whatever things I would do would benefit the people.
