I had just finished reading a book of her life story , i decided to bring it with me ....her bodyguard told me she wouldnt sign it , not allowed i think dunno anyway she watched me like a hawk all day (thinking i was going to ask her ), eventually when i went to talk to Mary , ur wun was over like a shot laugh ...she could have took me down with the looks , but it was fun winding her up grin ,as if Mary R couldnt speak for herself ! and ye i like Mary Robinson she's not afraid to speak out

when i met her it was at an opening for a womens art display .it was great cause she was asking us what we made represents in our lives.i found her easy to talk to .hug

Having a socialist inclination but coming from a strong working class background, I have mixed views on some of the middle class lefty types. I've always had respect for Mary Robinson though. A Mighty woman.

I hope Michael D is the next President. He's a great man and while we're on the subject of meeting famous people, I met him last year at a book launch and he was lovely. Very chatty and no airs and graces.
