Ocee35: Lets look at the pro's and cons...
Same guy repeatedly: Pro: You have time to plot revenge in advance. Con: You feel like and idiot.A new guy each time: Pro: He doesn't know about your left hook. Con: You feel like a revolving door for idiots. Looks like personal choice to me.
g33kgurl: a mate of mine has had her heart broken by one guy several times over 7 years... is it better to get your heart broken over and over again by the one man over 7 years or a number of guys instead?
neither, being heartbroken doesnt become better no matter if it was broken by only one man or many.,.still you end up the same..i think it just makes it worst if you get hurt by one man over and over again..aside from the pain..there will be no more self respect left..because you allowed yourself to be in that situation repeatedly

Strangest thing is we speak of broken hearts yet our hearts go on beating in same beats and rythmn
To me its more of ones spirit and soul that feels broken and I dont wish for once let alone numerous times for that to happen to human beings whom are decent caring beings

It's never better to have your heart broke, I would rather have all my teeth pulled without anesthesia. Old addage, better to haved loved and lost then never loved at all, that's like murphy's law to me and when I catch that SOB, he's dead.

People say that and I am just kidding when I remember the saying 'If you love some, set them free' and I really like the one ' if you love some, set them free and if they don't come back , hunt them down and kill them' I am totally joking of course.

Sometimes, it takes a while for us to learn hard and painful lessons. I met a guy here on this website that hurt me real bad. I cannot go into it. I don't know if I can handle another guy breaking my heart. I am still trying to heal from the last relationship.

im sorry to hear that petite.. it does take a while to heal. but feeling the hurt i think is essential for one to be over that person. otherwise, we tend to make the same mistakes over and over again..
I think a number of guys would be far more rewarding in the long run simply because there'd be more variation and hence less boredom along with the heartbreak.

Sometimes getting our heart broken is a way to wake us up about our values and priorities.
As I teen I got hurt several times because I was chasing after the wrong kind of girls.
As a result, I missed out on some girls who were much more my type. I just didn't realize it at the time.
Getting hurt a few times helped me sort out my priorities and understand what really is and isn't worth pursuing.
I like this post, alot.
