In response to: My daughter just called me, in tears. My grandson just fell through the bannister on the stairs, onto the concrete floor below. His father rushed him to the hospital. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Thank you both. Yes, it's driving me nuts! But he' probably hasn't even gotten in to see the doctor yet. You all know how those emergency rooms are.

They are usually pretty quick when its children waiting - he is in the best hands - love and positivity to you all

does that probably mean she has gone over to the hosp? have you thought anymore about going over yourself - you must be in such a state with this - he will probably be ok, kids are bendy - I wish I was closer to be able to help.....

Yep, good call - hold on to the not worrying as he most likely will be fine - a little girl here fell down the well of the escalators from about 5 floors up and was ok - wishing you lots of strength in your not worrying cos it aint easy
