In response to: My daughter just called me, in tears. My grandson just fell through the bannister on the stairs, onto the concrete floor below. His father rushed him to the hospital. I'm waiting to hear back from them.
PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM!!!

sweetowen: Thank you both. Yes, it's driving me nuts! But he' probably hasn't even gotten in to see the doctor yet. You all know how those emergency rooms are.

Praying for your grandson. Children of that age recover quickly so keep your chin up and stay positive. Keep up posted sweetie.
sweetowen: Thanks trish. Just tried to call my daughter, but got the answering machine instead.
does that probably mean she has gone over to the hosp? have you thought anymore about going over yourself - you must be in such a state with this - he will probably be ok, kids are bendy - I wish I was closer to be able to help.....

My co-workers told me they'd cover for me. I just hate worrying before I know there's really something to worry about. And I figure she'll call.
She may be picking Owen up from school right now. She also has the baby with her.

Yep, good call - hold on to the not worrying as he most likely will be fine - a little girl here fell down the well of the escalators from about 5 floors up and was ok - wishing you lots of strength in your not worrying cos it aint easy
