Everyday, we are on here, talking about how bad our past relationships were, and many times blaming either ourselves(which is rare) and/or blaming the past partner/s, which may be very well justifiable..(it could of been their fault..)

This is silly how the question came to me... but I'll share it...
I just let my little help me water our tomato plants and flowers, for the first time.. so obviously were both got soaked(me letting her use the hose) she is 20 months old lol.. But anyhow I brought her inside and give her a bath, then while I was drying her off and get her night clothes on, she had ahold of the remote control, just flipping through channels, she happen to stop on "The Andy Griffet's show" just long enough to hear "barney complaining to Andy about a break-up, and Andy's reply was... well, Barney instead of spending your time complaining about the break up and reasons why... Just spend that time and energy remembering some of the good memories that you had with her..Because nobody is going to live forever, so someday when you're on your death bed and you wander why did all the time go, and what did I spend my time doing..Do you really want to realize that most of your life was spent being bitter and complaining, which shunned you from enjoyment, that could of been..

well I added the blue part, the red made me think of the blue...

So I guess this is just a reminder, that everything we will ever do, or even think about will always stay with us...

So I am asking(which may be hard for some of us) to list one great quality about an Ex....(NO..... don't list your children as the one good thing) that doesn't allow you to actually think for an anwser....and not thinking doesn't allow for brain growth..and can lead to old timers disease lol...

I'll go first..

My daughter's mom, always tried to keep a clean house while raising her two other children to the best of her abilities, with very few resources to fall back on....(family)while maintaining a job.. There had been many times she barely had any money, but she would go without something so that she could get her kids something(toy) at the store.... So they would at least have a smile on their face....

OK... NOW I'm going back to my "screw the liberal's threads....laugh

There's positive in all people. Sometimes we don't want to see it. Thanks for sharing.

Nice thoughtful thread intent Tater.

I have an ex-boyfriend and his one redeeming quality is: he loved the only way he knew how.

Good post, Tater. I like it...and yes, many do focus on the negatives rather than the positives, myself included.

So...the father of my children, he was a wonderful cook, and he was patient about teaching me how to cook. Most of what I know of cooking, I learned from him. He was also really great at housecleaning, and could make it fun to scrub the floors together.
