Regarding the wi-fi, you need to buy a usb plug-in device that acts as a wi-fi connector, Dlink do a great one at around 20 pounds, you plug it into the laptop, run the software that comes with it and hey-presto you have a wireless laptop, good luck Rizla

I hope you enjoy the teaching even if you miss the blazing sun......... and in the UK last week my mechanic ended up in hospital with heatstroke while trying to fix my son's car - so you never know!

I am going to be teaching English in a school in the north of England for 10 weeks .. don't know how much I'll be around on CS over that period .. not as much as I have been recently .. yeah yeah I know .. mothers console your broken hearted daughters ..
well that's the 'bye bye' bit .. the wifi part is a little more technical ..
My room will be connected to the Internet via wifi .. but I have a laptop that I don't think is automatically wifi ready .. I am hoping there is someone who can fill in the dots of my knowledge for me on this one .. is it possible to get my non-wifi compliant laptop to connect to the Internet via wifi? .. what will I need to make that happen?
pls note I am not referring to the administrator side of things such as passwords and proxy addresses .. I'm interested just in knowing how to get this non-wifi ready machine to connect to the Internet via wifi .. if that's possible ..
