Well i cant be clearer than that cos i dont know what it is ...a woman on the blogs sd she was chatting to someone on POF and someone else sd its not a good safe way ...but i dont knowwhat it is hence the question

I too have a question why do people sometimes appear as canceled or hidden? It is sort of weird when it happens.
And is it for everybody or just the chosen few.
I guess it is different than being blocked?

well i think that there are 3 options that show up cancelled, deleted, or hidden and often you cannot tell which option that individual has chosen..if deleted this is an action taken by connecting singles....or the individual may chose to cancel their profile but the most pop is the hidden option and many people use it ...i do....you just hide your profile for a while for many reasons i normally do it because in this way one cannot receive messages flowers etc and one may either have no time or inclination for them and one may wish for a break from CS ..when one feels like returning then one shows ones profile once more ...hope this has answered your questions
